Trans Power SA
Trans Power SA is a trans-led group of volunteers with a mission to provide resources such as gender equality, health education, employment opportunities, and awareness regarding the needs of San Antonio’s gender-expansive community.
TANG: Trans and Non-Binary Group
TANG welcomes individuals who are under the transgender umbrella, non-binary umbrella, questioning their gender identity, or were born intersex. Spouses, partners, significant others, and immediate family members are welcome to attend, but the focus will remain on the trans experience. TANG meets on the first and third Sundays of the month.
Women in Transition – San Antonio
WIT is a peer-facilitated group for trans women, nonbinary folks, and those looking to explore. The group meets online every 2nd Thursday 6-8:30 PM. Contact the Pride Center for a Zoom invite or join the Facebook group.
Trans Masc Folks y Más
A peer-facilitated group group meets every Second Friday at 6:30 pm at the Pride Center, address 1303 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212. Due to COVID-19, meetings will be held via zoom. All transgender, non-binary, androgynous, gender fluid, two-spirited individuals are welcomed.
Binders For Brothers
Binders For Brothers SA provides free chest binders (specially-designed chest compression) to any transgender or non-binary person who needs one and cannot afford or safely obtain one.

Welcoming atmosphere for all transgender and gender-nonconforming youth and adults as well as parents and allies.
TransAllies SA
We are a San Antonio, Texas, support resource for allies (parents, spouses, family, friends, etc.) of transgender folks (especially children and young adults). We offer support group meetings and resources to answer questions you might have concerning your transgender loved one.
Texas Name and Gender Marker Change
A Facebook group is for those interested in how to change your name and/or your gender marker in Texas. Many of this group’s members have gone through the process and can share experiences and offer advice.

Pride Center San Antonio
The Pride Center of San Antonio serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and HIV communities by connecting them and their families to community resources and organizations related to health, wellness, support, education, activities, and advocacy.
Fiesta Youth
Fiesta Youth provides a safe, non-judgmental, affirming place for LGBTQ young people to express and explore who they are through education, peer-support, advocacy, and friendship.
LGBTQ+ Youth of Color Group
For young adults (ages 18-26) who are seeking support, guidance, and ways of managing their mental and emotional well-being. Topics discussed in this group may include family and social supports, safety and discrimination, coming out and/or transitioning, access to services and local resources, and resilience and perseverance. This group will meet on Wednesdays at 7pm. The first session will be on February 17th

La intención de este grupo terapéutico es compartir apoyo psicosocial para miembros (18+) de nuestra comunidad que hablan español y otras lenguas parecidas. AVER: Texas Lone Star Chapter
American Veterans for Equal Rights is the oldest and largest chapter-based, all-volunteer national LGBT Veterans Service Organization in the United States, and the nation’s only LGBT VSO recognized by the Veterans Administration.
Q Connection – LGBTQ+ Support Group
Q Connection is a safe, informal space to listen, discuss and learn, surrounded by community. This group is open to all LGBTQ+ folks, as well as to those who choose to not label themselves and those that support the community. The group meets on the third Monday of each month.
The Tea Room
The Tea Room is a safe space for you to ask about what you want to know regarding being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. Questions are answered by experienced members of the community who have been where you are and can offer their perspective.
Black Futures Collective
Black Futures Collective is a diverse group of Black organizers working together to defund SAPD, redistribute resources to the people, and protect Black trans folks at all costs.
Black Lives & Allies in Community
The mission of B.L.A.C. is to establish a community for Black people and allies to come together to exchange ideas, express ourselves, and form a united response to injustice. All are welcome to join B.L.A.C.
Living Positive

The Kind Clinic
A program of Texas Health Action, the Kind Clinic provides sexual health services including PrEP and PEP access, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing, and gender-affirming care to Central Texans in need. The Kind Clinic strives to provide sexual health services to all members of the LGBTQ community and allies, regardless of race, creed, gender expression, or sexual orientation.

Thrive provides an affirming, LGBTQ-positive environment where residents experience support and belonging as they take steps to exit homelessness.
S.M.A.S.H. – Substance Misuse Awareness & Sexual Health
SMASH is a program designed to offer a judgment-free, safe environment to discuss your health needs and questions. They offer prevention services to 18-24 year old men for substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and hepatitis.
BEAT AIDS
BEAT AIDS provides free, confidential, HIV testing, education, support groups, individual counseling, small group, peer to peer, linkage to medical, referral services, and much more.

TENT is an organization dedicated to furthering gender diverse equity in the State of Texas. They work to accomplish this through education and networking in both public and private forums.
Resources for Transgender Youth in Texas

Texas RioGrande Legal Aid
TRLA provides civil legal aid to 23,000 low-income Texans every year. They protect the rights of vulnerable people, defending them against everything from consumer fraud to illegal evictions to home foreclosures. They help veterans get the benefits they’ve earned and represent domestic abuse survivors who need protective orders.
